Product description
United Rentals' range of submersible pumps spans 2" (50mm), 3" (75mm) and 4" (100mm) bore sizes across the Tsurumi and Grindex model lines, covering dirty water, clean water and waste water applications in both single-phase and three-phase configurations. Submersible pumps, otherwise known as trash pumps, are pumps that can be fully submersed in fluid, and they push fluid to the surface rather than pulling it in, making them more efficient than non-submersible pumps. High-quality, compact and extremely durable with a relatively low weight, the range is purpose-built for dewatering flooded trenches, basements and excavations, and suited to wastewater transfer applications where solids-handling capability is required.
- Fitted with a float switch for automatic operation
- IP68 rated, with a maximum submersion depth of 20m
- Handles solids and sediment in the water being pumped, to varying degrees by model
- Operates within pH 5-8 and a maximum liquid temperature of 40°C
- Available in single-phase or three-phase configurations depending on model

Our range of submersible pumps includes:
- 2" Submersible Pump - Tsurumi HSZ2.75S): A portable drainage pump designed to pump water containing sand, solids, and debris with minimal wear and clogging; its side discharge and spiral design allow smoother passage of sucked solid matter.
- 2" Submersible Pump - LB800A: A semi-vortex dewatering pump whose urethane rubber or high chrome cast iron impeller suspends solids and allows pumping of sand and stringy material. As an automatic submersible pump, it performs like the non-automatic version in every aspect of construction site usage requiring a tough and durable pump.
- 3" Submersible Pump - Grindex Sandy N: Ideal for pumping thick, viscous liquid, such as mud, sludge, and light slurry; its patented air valve and electronic protection system let it run dry indefinitely.
- 3" Submersible Pump - Grindex Minette: The next smallest model in the drainage range, sharing all important features and benefits with the larger models for the lowest cost per cubic metre pumped. Its hydraulic design ensures high wear resistance and dramatically reduces performance drop from long-term wear.
- 3" Submersible Pump - Grindex Major H: The high head configuration of the Major, one of the more popular models in the drainage range, sharing all important features and benefits with the other models for the lowest cost per cubic metre pumped. Its hydraulic design ensures high wear resistance and dramatically reduces performance drop from long-term wear.
- 4" Submersible Pump - Grindex Major N: The normal head configuration of the Major, one of the more popular models in the drainage range, sharing all important features and benefits with the other models for the lowest cost per cubic metre pumped. Its hydraulic design ensures high wear resistance and dramatically reduces performance drop from long-term wear.
